Second Life Credentials

http://campustechnology.com/articles/65936/

Our fine prior colleague Wende Morgaine sends me this heads up this morning- It looks like curriculum to certify someone as capable in Second Life has emerged at Texas State Technical College- Neat!!

Thought you would want to see v.tstc.edu for clarification...TSTC isn't credentialling people for Second Life... we're using Second Life as a medium in which to educate students for a digital media certificate and degree.

Thank you for the clarification Eliska, that is an important distinction! Though, you know, the idea of credentialing someone to be capable of design and development for specific purposes (Marketing, Ed, Non Profit, etc.) is much needed curriculum, and would probably fill DL classes from a global pool of interest. ;)
